alsspherel staff good food,friendly atmo
thought there would be more entertainment
I liked that The Star Hotel is in central of town which is near atm, takeaway and pubs.
Service is alright, We don't get very welcome on the arrival. Staff look like they cant be bother with us or even do their job. When we arrive, there is receptionist missing. Barman dont have a clue what to do but we said we are happy to wait in bar until receptionist turn up. Its was very odd environment. Even we spoke to local people. They telling us that we are mad to stay at hotel.
It did what it said on the tin but I still think the price was a bit on the high side - I thought I had signed up for a budet deal but was charged normal standard single room - in a hurry to get to my appointment so did not query. The staff were lovely
It was a friendly hotel .
A little un organised at the evening meal. No entertainment the Saturday night we stayed
Friendly and efficent staff.Good food. Enjoyable evening entertainment. Comfortable bed.
No lift room and bathroom was quite small no shower would have preferred a douvet rather than blankets.
the wait for someone to take our breakfast order, especially having a small child with us who was getting fed up waiting
